The Bukit is a huge limestone table- land that provides the southernmost part of Bali. Here the landscape is still wild, and difficult to farm. The local Balinese have lived at a subsistence level for centuries, and they still work and worship together in a communal way, celebrating their temple ceremonies and life cycle ceremonies with music, dance and offerings. Arriving at the Bali Cliff Resort is a total surprise. After climbing up to the top of the Bukit the mad forks to the left and winds down through arid farmlands to the village of Ungasan and then roller coasters on down to a sudden fertile valley, batted in light at night, or an oasis of lush gardens in the daytime. A spectacular carved split gate heralds the entrance. This part of the headland is still sparsely inhabited. The only people who came to this part of Bali are those villagers who come to visit the temple at the base of the cliff, Pura Batu Pageh. In the past they used to climb up the sheer rock by bamboo ladder - men, women and children, clad in sarongs and balancing offerings of fruit and food on their heads. In recent years a concrete staircase has been built. The cave is said to be guarded by a pair of fierce dragon snakes, and is considered a magical source of holy water - there is a man-made water urn inside that always fills up at the time of a ceremony

Room Types and Features:
* Superior Room: ( 36 sqm ) This room offers king size / twin bed, marbled bathroom with separate toilet, a cosy set in a mixture of wooden carved furniture and rattan cushioned sofa. All superior rooms have a balcony overlooking lagoon or garden. Rooms on the first level are fitted with teak wood flooring and rooms on the second and third levels are carpeted.

* Superior Suite: ( 72 sqm ) Twice the size of a superior room offering king size / twin bed, spacious marbled bathroom with separate toilet, nice setting, comfortable living room with wooden carved furniture and rattan cushioned sofa. The living room has access to a balcony overlooking the laggon. The bedroom has a modern yet traditional setting with a separate toilet to the marbled bathroom 24 hours butler service is provided.

* Honeymoon Suite: ( 80.40 sqm ) Spacious living room with dining table, seating area and guest toilet are set nicely before its personalised bedroom. The bedroom in a nice traditional setting is separated by a glass window from the bathroom which has an additional walk in shower and toilet to the fitted bathtub. An exterior balcony promise a superb view to the lagoon pool and ocean. 24 butler service is provided.

* GARDEN VILLA: ( 217.50 sqm )Located on the west side of the hotel is the two-bedded room villa. The villa offers special privacy and tranquillity surrounded by beautiful gardens which separate the villa from the main buildings of the hotel and yet could be reached directly from the main entrance by car.
Private parking is just a few steps away from the villa. Each king size bedroom has its own private bathroom with a walk in shower and closet A cosy floral corner is found very next to the bathtub. Spacious living room separated by steps to the dining room, kitchen and guest toilet. 24 hours butler service is provided.

* Royal Suitte: ( 172.40 sqm ) Located on the southern part of the hotel where you can really experience the fabulous moments of sunrise and sunset. Leading on from the marbled entrance you find two bedrooms ( 1 king seize and 1 twin bed ), living room, dining room and kitchen. The master bedroom has a grand bathroom offering the most splendid views to the pool and ocean. Additionally the bathroom has a Jacuzzi , walk in closet , walk in shower, and a bidet. The second bedroom has its own private bathroom and is fitted with wooden furniture and rattan chairs. The living and dining room are perfect areas to enjoy the luxury of this fabulous suite. * Presidential Suite: ( 425 sqm ) This most exclusive and grand suite of the hotel consisting of 2 bedrooms ( 1 king size and 1 twin bed ) , large living room, and separate drawing room. Located on the third floor with prime view to the ocean, cliff pool and gardens. The entrance features a classic carved wooden door. The marble corridor before its living room and bedrooms is set nicely with antique decoration. The large luxurious beautifully decorated grand living room and is fitted with its own bar and dining area. As expected a fully equipped kitchen / pantry area is found adjacent to the dining area. A games room is located on the other side of the living room. Both living and games room have a private balcony with a stunning view. The master bedroom has a grand bathroom offering the most splendid views to the cliff pool and ocean. Additionally the bathroom has a Jacuzzi, closet, walk in shower and a bidet. Attached to the master bedroom is a study chamber with its own private balcony. The second bedroom has its own private bathroom and is fitted with wooden furniture and rattan chairs. The Pizzaria - Aromatic pizzas or some light snacks are your preference, then a stop at the Pizzaria is a must.

Tirta Bar
Located in the lagoon pool offers tropical cocktails throughout the day. And of course every meal at the Bali Cliff is prepared with the finest ingredients.

The Ocean Restaurant
Just a brief ride down the cliff side in an air conditioned glass travelator, brings you the fresh catch from the sea. The Balinese style bar and open sided dining pavilions all ideal for sea view lovers. Continental and Asean favorites are the specialities at the bistro-style Cliff coffee shop where you can also dine al-fresco by the exotic gardens.

Meeting Rooms:
The ballroom is beautifully decorated in Balinese motifs with four large crystal chandeliers as a highlight. A large, movable stage and a simultaneous interpreting system (SIS), able to translate into 8 languages, as well as all necessary conference equipment are available.

This ballroom can be the site of a small meeting as well as an international conference.
A beautiful roof garden terrace is the ideal location for open air cocktail parties with a superb view of the hotel's gardens and the Indian Ocean
